Here is the official introduction to the two new flagship devices from Samsung: the S6 and S6 Edge.
It’s worth noting that there is no micro SD card expansion or removable battery on both models, but are available in 32/64/128GB variants.

Google are encouraging Chromecast owners to buy into their services by giving away £5 of credit. You can potentially get two movies for free from this and if you haven’t already used your phone/tablet to stream to your Chromecast, this is a great time to try it!

Hey presto you’re in the wife’s good books (depending on film choice of course!).
Say happy new year with Hangouts, trigger an automatic animation
Happy new year readers!
Just a quick note that if you say happy new year with Google Hangouts you will trigger an automatic party animation. A nice addition to the excitement of the occasion.
See you all next year for more tech goodness!

Head on down to the Play Store now to grab the entertaining Goat Simulator with a Limited Christmas discount of 80% off the RRP.
This crazy baaaaad 🐐 game has you playing as a goat (mainly) in a sandbox village arena. You can run around and explore the area to see what you can interact with. Destruction and mayhem is high on the to do list, along with more fascinating ideas like sacrificial ceremonies and murdering hillbilly boy racers.
One Baaaaad ass goat
There are a few bugs in this game where you can end up falling through the floor for no reason, but it certainly is an excellent achievement porting this game to mobile. Well done Coffee Stain Studios! The physics in this game can be quite amazing at times.
Ball hopper and Bbq equals flame thrower goat! 🔥
There are plenty of people and objects you can interact with to create different scenarios. All in the name of fun (mayhem!). Just see what can be done by experimenting. You can even play a cheeky/frustrating version of flappy bird.
Note: all achievements are actually achievable, including the Baa Baa Baa quest. This game is compatible with Lollipop and is a great addition for your shiny new Christmas tablet. Fun for young(ish) and old.
Google has published a full guide to Android Lollipop and can be downloaded from the Play Store for free on the link below:
Android 5.0 Lollipop
I’m quite excited about the release of the iPhone 6 Plus. Not because I’m interested in buying one. I’m interested in the apple fan base response.
Being an Android fanatic I’ve had Apple fanboys instantly dismiss my previous 3 phones due to their “huge” screen sizes.
“It’s too big, you can’t use it one handed. It will looks stupid in your pocket…” And so on…
I think its the best iPhone yet. What do you think? Here are some of the stats for comparison.
NOTE: I think its unfair to actually specify the chip set in the Galaxy S5. If you’re in the UK like me, you’ll have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad-Core MSM8974AC chip. This is clocked at 2.5GHz with an upgraded graphics processor (Qualcomm Adreno 330 [578MHz])
I’d also add that my SD card is 128GB in size and works perfectly at a fraction of the price of the competitor.
I’ve also added QI Wireless Charging at very little cost, and use NFC tags to make my busy life that little bit simpler. The new iPhone won’t support traditional NFC tags, only a form of Apples chips (who’d have thought).
I can also record in 4K on the S5 which is just a tiny bonus for future proofing. And although they don’t play in 4K they do look fantastic on the superior pixel density S5 screen.
Oh, and does the iPhone has an IR blaster?
Who wins? You decide.
